J.S. Jaded Savior launched in May 2019as a platform for trauma survivors to tell their stories and a way for me to share my own struggles with PTSD + ANXIETY + DEPRESSION. I had hit rock bottom while raising my little ones as a stay at home mom and did not know what to do to regain control of my life and health. I did not want to see a doctor for typical medication and had no way of getting to a therapist to discuss the symptoms and struggles I was having. I felt isolated, alone, and like even getting out of bed was hard.
Blogging about my mental health struggles has allowed me to help other people and begin a healing journey that feels safe and right for me. I have a passion for writing and design, which allowed me to make and run this entire website from scratch. I hope to empower people who feel lost and broken, providing them with resources and tools that give them the confidence and courage to heal. |
