Life changing favorites: 


​Last year I decided to DITCH coffee because I discovered it was increasing my insomnia, triggering my anxiety, and leaving me with frequent migraines. After doing some research on Anxiety relief herbs and remedies, I discovered these favorite products that literally became life savers. I now live by Adaptogen blends + Ashwagandha in my shakes, teas, coffee alternatives, and even in gel caps! I tried out Four Sigmatic Ashwagandha blend and FELL IN LOVE with the taste. I make one cup each morning, emptying the contents into a cup of low fat milk and then heating (or icing) as necessary. ​I began my spiritual journey to heal from PTSD + Anxiety by reading blogs and stories by survivors whom had turned their lives around after diving into spiritual healing and devoted self care practices. I wanted to discover who I truly was, what my purpose was, and how to pull apart my deepest pain and struggles. I did not identify with religion or have a connection to any type of faith at the time. Finding spiritual healing methods was the best discovery I made in all areas of my lifestyle, as it led me to making true friendships, a deeper connection with my partner and family, as well as a deep love for myself. I decided to follow spiritual gurus, coaches, and healers on social media to learn from. I also signed up for any free workshop or online event I could find in order to expand my mind and learn.

Audible monthly membership is a game changer.


​I used to feel that I had no time to read books, but discovering this audio book subscription changed my lifestyle dramatically. I listen to inspirational and insightful books every week, while simultaneously doing other daily activities such as cooking, exercising, going for a walk, and even working on the computer on my own projects. I have learned so much and owe much of my healing to the integration of audio books in my weekly routines.

SELF CARE:

Taking time to take care of myself dramatically improved my mental health.


As a wife and mother of 3, I fell behind on the priority scale and rarely took care of myself. Between ignoring meals for myself, not taking care of my skin and body, as well as having no real routines, I fell deeper into depression cycles and had no idea how to get better. I did not realize that the key to relief was putting myself first, before everyone else. One year ago, I would not have imagined taking two or three hours a day for myself but now it is a top priority every single day. I take time to really enjoy bath and beauty rituals, put love into my body and skin, as well as take time to go for a walk alone or do something alone without sharing or feeling guilty. I really believe that quality self care aids in healing from severe depression and managing anxiety, as it teaches someone to value themselves and set impenetrable boundaries that connect to emotional and physical well being.
